Jerry Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Selman Tüney sent off a good shot on target. Selman Tüney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Vassenius having to interfere. Tayfur Bartu's late challenge caught a Kabadüz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayfur Bartu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ayvalık Kartalı JK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tayfur Bartu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ayvalık Kartalı JK's Jerry Vassenius got control of the ball when İlhami Tolgahan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute Selman Tüney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kaan Akpınar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ali Kaan Akpınar hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mustafa Namık Ahıska showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergincan Özgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Mustafa Namık Ahıska came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayvalık Kartalı JK's Ergincan Özgun. But to his dismay, Ergincan Özgun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Arif Cengiz Ilıcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, İlhami Tolgahan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kabadüz's supporters rose to their feet, but İlhami Tolgahan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Vassenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selman Tüney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jerry Vassenius made a huge save. After the first half Ayvalık Kartalı JK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tayfur Bartu was the one to do the kick off. Jerry Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Tüney, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Arif Cengiz Ilıcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Gündüz Nesip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Vassenius having to interfere. When İlhami Tolgahan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kabadüz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlhami Tolgahan couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Arif Cengiz Ilıcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Vassenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Arif Cengiz Ilıcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Cengiz Ilıcan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Vassenius saved Ayvalık Kartalı JK from getting behind. İlhami Tolgahan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Vassenius having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Arif Cengiz Ilıcan made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Vassenius. Ayvalık Kartalı JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Arif Cengiz Ilıcan put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jerry Vassenius. After having played for 76 minutes, Arif Cengiz Ilıcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kabadüz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Cengiz Ilıcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If İlhami Tolgahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, İlhami Tolgahan made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Vassenius. Ayvalık Kartalı JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Arif Cengiz Ilıcan scored 5-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerry Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led Kabadüz's Avni Karabugra to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerry Vassenius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. İlhami Tolgahan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhami Tolgahan in the 95th minute of play forced Ayvalık Kartalı JK's goalkeeper Jerry Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
