Cevat Utkan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Bayındır SK's Akif İlbaşı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cumali Çavas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Akif İlbaşı struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cumali Çavas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayındır SK. Akif İlbaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Çavas having to interfere. Cumali Çavas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akif İlbaşı in the 25th minute of the match. Bayındır SK's Ahmet Baki Bengialp got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kocaelispor SK's Cumali Çavas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akif İlbaşı in the 31st minute of play. With his leg Cumali Çavas managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Bayındır SK's Ahmet Baki Bengialp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bayındır SK's Ahmet Baki Bengialp got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hüsamettin Sidam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Tecen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ahmet Baki Bengialp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayındır SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Baki Bengialp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cumali Çavas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cenk Egin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ahmet Baki Bengialp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Çavas having to interfere. Cumali Çavas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akif İlbaşı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaelispor SK's zone, Akif İlbaşı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cumali Çavas came out of the goal and Akif İlbaşı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akif İlbaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumali Çavas having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Kocaelispor SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Baki Bengialp came free, but Cumali Çavas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Baki Bengialp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Baki Bengialp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Akif İlbaşı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayındır SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ahmet Baki Bengialp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bayındır SK fully deserved thier win.
