Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Hafız Sanal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cemil Yaltır made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Hafız Sanal sent off a good shot on target. Taha İftihar made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nusrettin Umay immediately put the ball in play. 16 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Cemil Yaltır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hulusi Dalmaz. After 17 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Şansal Unat. In the 27th minute of the game Taha İftihar made a throw-in which Nusrettin Umay played forward. Cemil Yaltır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurtekin Savlet in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, Nusrettin Umay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Çona FK booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selçuk İlgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Turgut Bayezit didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Hafız Sanal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nusrettin Umay was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Burhanettin Tuyuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Burhanettin Tuyuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuzalp Sönmezalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Çona FK's goalkeeper Oğuzalp Sönmezalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nusrettin Umay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusrettin Umay in the 61st minute of play forced Çona FK's goalkeeper Oğuzalp Sönmezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutay Serhad made a great header on Trabzonspor's corner, it was just that Çona FK's Oğuzalp Sönmezalp managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute of the match Trabzonspor got a corner. Çona FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kutay Serhad ran over to the corner to take the kick. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Fahrettin Kelim. 80 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Hafız Sanal came free, but Cemil Yaltır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burhanettin Tuyuğ charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burhanettin Tuyuğ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Burhanettin Tuyuğ. After having played for 87 minutes, Nusrettin Umay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nusrettin Umay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fahrettin Kelim kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Trabzonspor were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Çona FK's much stronger midfield.
