The ElitSpor FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when ElitSpor FC's Ahmet Sedat Engiay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of ElitSpor FC booed when Gs SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahap Uğurtay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bahadırhan Kahveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahadırhan Kahveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayındır Yıldıray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ElitSpor FC's zone, Gürcan Kocaalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
