In the 18th minute of the match, Azim Ereken tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kamer Mertol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Vahap Uğurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadırhan Kahveci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bülent Tandoğdu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sadri İlhanoğlu. Sadri İlhanoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, Gs SK's Vahap Uğurtay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sadri İlhanoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bülent Tandoğdu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sadri İlhanoğlu. Sadri İlhanoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Fikirtepe JK's Seyhan Tanay got a free kick in the 39th minute. Vahap Uğurtay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadri İlhanoğlu having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sadri İlhanoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bülent Tandoğdu was the one to do the kick off. If Vahap Uğurtay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahadırhan Kahveci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sadri İlhanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Bülent Tandoğdu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6.
