Nadir Tuğaltay's late challenge caught a Hanak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nurkan Özonder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hanak's supporters rose to their feet, but Nurkan Özonder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdet İzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nurkan Özonder to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Veliöldük SK's zone, Nurkan Özonder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet İzhan came out of the goal and Nurkan Özonder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nurkan Özonder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdet İzhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. İbrahim Ethem Nusret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nihat Osman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Zikri Dirican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Bedri Hazarbeyoğlu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nurkan Özonder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. İbrahim Ethem Nusret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nihat Osman in the 82nd minute of the match. Nihat Osman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Ethem Nusret having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Nihat Osman put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of İbrahim Ethem Nusret. The Hanak players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Veliöldük SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
