In the 3rd match minute, Serik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saadettin Oykan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bektaszade booed when Serik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkut Ozan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yasin Bardakçıoğlu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Saadettin Oykan was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Levent Tandoğan lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 21st minute, one of Bektaszade:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bektaszade. Balaban Kayıhan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mehmet Edip Ergazi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Yasin Bardakçıoğlu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 36 minutes into the match, Bektaszade's goalkeeper Yasin Bardakçıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Edip Ergazi. In the 37thth minute of the game Erkut Ozan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bektaszade's Yasin Bardakçıoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Mehmet Edip Ergazi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Yasin Bardakçıoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bektaszade's goalkeeper Yasin Bardakçıoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Edip Ergazi was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Serik's Erkut Ozan got a free kick in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Bektaszade's Doğukan Tahsin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Bektaszade's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Edip Ergazi came free, but Yasin Bardakçıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bektaszade's Yasin Bardakçıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Edip Ergazi in the 76th minute of play. Yasin Bardakçıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Edip Ergazi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Serik's Mehmet Edip Ergazi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yasin Bardakçıoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Mehmet Edip Ergazi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yasin Bardakçıoğlu. Bektaszade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehmet Edip Ergazi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Serik had won after a very even match.
