Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uluer having to interfere. Faruk Uluer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Edip Ergazi in the 16th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Serik:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ankara Akademi:s goal. The referee gave Ankara Akademi a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Umut Onay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Serik's Cevher Durcan. 1-1. Cevher Durcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkan Ayvazoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Berkan Ayvazoğlu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Serik's Cevher Durcan. Cevher Durcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orbay Rıfat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevher Durcan having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Sungurbey Zafir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Faruk Uluer managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Serik's Ergün İpekçi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The supporters of Serik booed when Ankara Akademi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erman Atasagun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orbay Rıfat might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cevher Durcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orbay Rıfat ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute of the match, Orbay Rıfat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cevher Durcan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mehmet Edip Ergazi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ankara Akademi's Berkan Ayvazoğlu in the 67th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cevher Durcan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Serik through an amazing save. Saadettin Oykan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Orbay Rıfat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Erkut Ozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sezgin Özdal hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Orbay Rıfat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cevher Durcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Mehmet Edip Ergazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Edip Ergazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uluer having to interfere. Mehmet Edip Ergazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ankara Akademi's Faruk Uluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkut Ozan in the 96th minute of play. Mehmet Edip Ergazi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faruk Uluer having to make a save. Although Serik had been in control for most of the match, Ankara Akademi still came away with the win.
