Bektaszade's supporters rose to their feet, but Levent Tandoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuddusî Tor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Bektaszade's Kuddusî Tor threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Korcan Çelikel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
