After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arslan Kayı was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Zincirlikuyu's Arslan Kayı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oyak JK's Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Oyak JK from getting a goal against them. Zincirlikuyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şükrü Gerdaneri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Oyak JK's Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu got control of the ball when Şükrü Gerdaneri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şükrü Gerdaneri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arslan Kayı, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Oyak JK's goalkeeper Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şükrü Gerdaneri. Zincirlikuyu's Arslan Kayı got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şükrü Gerdaneri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu having to interfere. Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günalp Nazif went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
