Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ferit Okbudun got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Ertan Yağızkan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cubuklu's Oğuzer Maksut. In the 20th minute, Emrullah Sarp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ferit Okbudun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Güneysu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ferit Okbudun came free, but Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Oğuzer Maksut managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Güneysu SK's Hasan Tahsin Tanju fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ertan Yağızkan made the kick off in the second half. Oğuzer Maksut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Tahsin Tanju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Güneysu SK's Hasan Tahsin Tanju in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Bayhan Erginay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk. That made the score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. Alkan Şanalp made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cubuklu's Mustafa Numan Davutoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasan Tahsin Tanju in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuzer Maksut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ertan Yağızkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oğuzer Maksut was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Hasan Tahsin Tanju fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güneysu SK's protests and gave Hasan Tahsin Tanju a yellow card for diving instead.
