Gürhan Yalınayak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncer Yalkın got free with Barlas İskenderoğlu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şadi Vural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barlas İskenderoğlu having to interfere. Barlas İskenderoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuncer Yalkın's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timur Tandan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadettin Ülke in the 52nd minute of play forced Besiktas JK's goalkeeper Barlas İskenderoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Besiktas JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Enginalp in the 65th minute of play forced Panthera Pardus Tulliana's goalkeeper Gürhan Yalınayak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Besiktas JK's Burç Enginalp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gürhan Yalınayak. Gürhan Yalınayak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Şadi Vural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şadi Vural's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barlas İskenderoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Battal Giryar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Şadi Vural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuncer Yalkın might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barlas İskenderoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuncer Yalkın ran back to his position shaking his head. But to his dismay, Tuncer Yalkın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 90 minutes into the game, Panthera Pardus Tulliana's Sadettin Ülke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barlas İskenderoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Besiktas JK's goalkeeper Barlas İskenderoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute of the match Peyami Atasan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barlas İskenderoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
