After a defensive mix-up in Palandöken Kartalları's zone, Haluk Özguven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hurşit Mücip came out of the goal and Haluk Özguven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Sezgin Kutsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palandöken Kartalları's Hurşit Mücip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sezgin Kutsel in the 43rd minute of play forced Palandöken Kartalları's goalkeeper Hurşit Mücip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zühtü Samin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Olympos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
