With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilge Tanacan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 6 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Battal Kunt. Ertaç Akbayrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Baltalimani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadir Kaptan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ertaç Akbayrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bilge Tanacan made a huge save.
