The audience thought a goal was coming when Ataman Mahçupyan got free with Altan Kamuran in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tacettin Bozdağ in the 7th minute of play forced Cide Spor's goalkeeper Mahmut Usta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mahmut Usta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkerim Çubukcu in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Engin Kiner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahmut Usta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ataman Mahçupyan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altan Kamuran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Cide Spor's Ataman Mahçupyan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Altan Kamuran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Pamukova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ataman Mahçupyan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Pamukova defense, Ataman Mahçupyan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Altan Kamuran. The Pamukova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Altan Kamuran should have stopped the shot. After 43 played minutes Cide Spor got a freekick which was hit by Andaç Fırıncıoğlu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Engin Kiner to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cide Spor's Mahmut Usta got control of the ball when Tacettin Bozdağ tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aybek Sabir kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ataman Mahçupyan in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altan Kamuran saved Pamukova from getting behind. If Ataman Mahçupyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Tolga Erdurmus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cide Spor and the Pamukova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tolga Erdurmus kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cide Spor's Ataman Mahçupyan got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ataman Mahçupyan fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cide Spor's protests and gave Ataman Mahçupyan a yellow card for diving instead. Altan Kamuran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykutalp Çağlayan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Suat Ongar came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cide Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suat Ongar couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Pamukova's Tacettin Bozdağ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Pamukova played a much better game than Cide Spor and deserved their victory. The Cide Spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
