The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nazil Safvet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Trabzonspor SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilgaz Samih to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savaşer Tunç was the one to do the kick off. Mustafa Hakan Elmacı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazil Safvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savaşer Tunç in the 60th minute of the match. Savaşer Tunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Safvet having to interfere. Güvenç Özdinçer struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Nazil Safvet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor SK. After 71 minutes, Dorukhan Numan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balikesir and the Trabzonspor SK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
