Spectators: 7030 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sungurhan Saruhan got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ataman Nedim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eceabat's Gürol Cenger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Çağrı Dalmaz in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungurhan Saruhan in the 8th minute of play forced Kovancilar's goalkeeper Güral Vahdet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mesut Akboy came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Eceabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mesut Akboy couldn't finish the play. Gürol Cenger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Çağrı Dalmaz went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Sungurhan Saruhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eceabat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Eceabat's goal looked a bit too open when Arcan Boztepe came free, but Gürol Cenger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 23 in the game by Sungurhan Saruhan from a close distance when the talented Güral Vahdet managed to make a qualified save. Kovancilar's players were relieved. A collision led to Kovancilar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tevfik Engiay hit a great ball. Gürol Cenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataman Nedim, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Kovancilar's goalkeeper Güral Vahdet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sungurhan Saruhan. When Orhan Seyfi Semavi came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Eceabat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Seyfi Semavi couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Sungurhan Saruhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güral Vahdet was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Orhan Seyfi Semavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Güral Vahdet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ataman Nedim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tevfik Engiay kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eceabat's zone, Ataman Nedim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Cenger came out of the goal and Ataman Nedim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Eceabat's Gürol Cenger got control of the ball when Mehmet Çağrı Dalmaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute of the match, Tevfik Engiay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gürol Cenger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tevfik Engiay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataman Nedim's late challenge caught a Eceabat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ataman Nedim helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kovancilar's Ataman Nedim got a free kick in the 68th minute. Arcan Ayık was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eceabat! Gürol Cenger went to the wrong direction when Özgür Berksan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 78 played minutes Eceabat got a freekick which was hit by Mesut Akboy. Eceabat's Gürol Cenger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Eceabat from getting a goal against them. Gürol Cenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataman Nedim in the 84th minute of the match. Ataman Nedim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Cenger having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Semavi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eceabat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Seyfi Semavi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes of play, Eceabat's Nuralp Seyyid made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güral Vahdet was left in no man's land by his defense there!
