Atak Baybars charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atak Baybars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orçun Akgüngör's late challenge caught a Sefaköy JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orçun Akgüngör helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Orçun Akgüngör hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute İnanç Saraç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behram İşçen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yavuz İlenç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behram İşçen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhat Yaslı, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gencay Tansu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz İlenç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Gazanfer Özcan Altunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencay Tansu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
