Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. galatasaray's Berk Ünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamber Revan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bahadırhan Totuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, one of galatasaray:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Selendi. Bumin Nuh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving İsa Haspolatlı. 0-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Selendi's goalkeeper Atacan Saruca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bahadırhan Totuk kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Yağızhan Özbilir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Atacan Saruca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berk Ünalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, galatasaray's Necmi Akaltan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Selendi's Arif Tugay Başdoğan suffered a sore foot after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When İldeniz Perinçek fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored galatasaray's protests and gave İldeniz Perinçek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İldeniz Perinçek to maneuver through the defense. When Yağızhan Özbilir came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Selendi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızhan Özbilir couldn't finish the play. Atacan Saruca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Berk Ünalp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yağızhan Özbilir made a kick off. Atacan Saruca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmi Akaltan in the 55th minute of the match. Berk Ünalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berk Ünalp took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atacan Saruca. Atacan Saruca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Necmi Akaltan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selendi's Atacan Saruca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berk Ünalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yağızhan Özbilir might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsa Haspolatlı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yağızhan Özbilir ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of galatasaray booed when Selendi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamber Revan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Berk Ünalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atacan Saruca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akif Akad's late challenge caught a galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akif Akad helped the player get up and apologised. Akif Akad kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, galatasaray's Kerim Uygun broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
