To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SARSELONA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. İZMİR ALTINORDU were winning 0-1.

Genco Reşat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faruk Nafiz Sefik, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Cabbar Özgurel fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SARSELONA's protests and gave Cabbar Özgurel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SARSELONA getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cabbar Özgurel hit a great ball. Anıl Cenk Savturs short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Genco Reşat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faruk Nafiz Sefik's late challenge caught a SARSELONA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faruk Nafiz Sefik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SARSELONA booed when İZMİR ALTINORDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faruk Nafiz Sefik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, İZMİR ALTINORDU's Anıl Cenk Savtur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genco Reşat narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
