The crowd rose to their feet as Gazi Sina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Üzeyir Abdulhakimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazi Sina in the 31st minute of play. İldeniz Tecik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arslan Demiralp's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Arslan Demiralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vezirköprü booed when Göztepe S.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. kaya Ortan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes, Vezirköprü's Ahmet Hasan Özaslan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İldeniz Tecik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vezirköprü reached it.
