After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kazan's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aşkın Umay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nejat Alp İzmirli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merih Tanver in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İdris Tandan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İdris Tandan made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Nejat Alp İzmirli sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the game, Erkan Pekdeger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amasyaspor JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kazan the free kick. A collision led to Amasyaspor JK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Erkan Pekdeger hit a great ball. Nejat Alp İzmirli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İdris Tandan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Cenk Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kazan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cenk Şavat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Umay having to interfere. If Cenk Şavat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merih Tanver in the 36th minute of play forced Kazan's goalkeeper İdris Tandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eralp Akyıldız during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Kazan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eralp Akyıldız to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kazan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sebati Karhan hit a great ball. Kazan's İdris Tandan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merih Tanver in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Kazan's goalkeeper İdris Tandan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nejat Alp İzmirli. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merih Tanver in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İdris Tandan saved Kazan from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Amasyaspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Battal Yurday. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazan's Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aşkın Umay. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. İdris Tandan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merih Tanver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Amasyaspor JK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Battal Yurday hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Amasyaspor JK's goalkeeper Aşkın Umay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cenk Şavat. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Umay having to interfere. Cenk Şavat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Umay having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aşkın Umay. The goal made the score 0-2. İdris Tandan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Alp İzmirli, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Aşkın Umay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşkın Umay. Aşkın Umay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cenk Şavat got free with Aşkın Umay in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kazan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
