Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uygur Demiralp during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eye Of The Tiger booed when Kazan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uygur Demiralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kazan's zone, Berker Rıza Seyidhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İdris Tandan came out of the goal and Berker Rıza Seyidhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cenk Şavat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyhan Siyami having to interfere. Seyhan Siyami made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu in the 12th minute. İdris Tandan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berker Rıza Seyidhan in the 14th minute of the match. Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Eye Of The Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencay Ümran to maneuver through the defense. When Paşa İskenderoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eye Of The Tiger's protests and gave Paşa İskenderoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Eye Of The Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Paşa İskenderoğlu. After having played for 43 minutes, Cenk Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kazan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cenk Şavat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kazan's Baransel Temren got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Eye Of The Tiger's zone, Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyhan Siyami came out of the goal and Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İdris Tandan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berker Rıza Seyidhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Eye Of The Tiger fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Eye Of The Tiger's Bilge Eğilmez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th minute, Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazan's Cenk Şavat got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cenk Şavat struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Seyhan Siyami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kazan. After 83 minutes of play, Kazan's Cenk Şavat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyhan Siyami was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Kazan's Kuddusî Bağcıoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Seyhan Siyami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kazan fully deserved thier win.
