The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alper Uğurlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Bircanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kesan SK's Gani Paker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Kesan SK from getting a goal against them. Alper Uğurlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beyhan Yener in the 10th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Giray Hizanlı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kahta and the Kesan SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kahta's Giray Hizanlı got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Bircanoğlu in the 30th minute of play forced Kahta's goalkeeper Alper Uğurlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kahta's Alper Uğurlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beyhan Yener in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Kesan SK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Muhammet Temizkan hit a great ball. Erman Şerhenk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burç Bircanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Beyhan Yener got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kahta's Alper Uğurlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Bircanoğlu in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazmi Arslantürk in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gani Paker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mustafa Hakan Gürtuna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Beyhan Yener could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Alper Uğurlu however easily saved by the left post. Kahta's Alper Uğurlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kahta from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Beyhan Yener put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alper Uğurlu. When Kesan SK's Burç Bircanoğlu in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kahta's goalie prevented a goal.
