The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Verderveremem F.K.'s Serhan İkinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Temizer in the 16th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Volkan Olgunsu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serhan İkinci. That made the score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. Ali Ömer Tandoğdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adil Dikici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orkun Sulasi having to interfere. Orkun Sulasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Battal Temizer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serhan İkinci. Battal Temizer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adil Dikici was the one to do the kick off. After 95 played minutes Verderveremem F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Ali Ömer Tandoğdu. Yildirim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
