The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Dargecit got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Akbaş. Baransel Ekincioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Öztürk Neyzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Hıdır Resat put in a rough tackle. Resul Tuncal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Hafız İçten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Tolga Akbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cengizhan Tokdemir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafız İçten, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, GAP Gençlik SK's Cengizhan Tokdemir got control of the ball when Bayındır Mehmet Tanören tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batuğ Ulun hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gazi Samet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gazi Samet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Yaman Regaip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dargecit's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaman Regaip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cengizhan Tokdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batuğ Ulun struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Baransel Ekincioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAP Gençlik SK. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bayındır Mehmet Tanören in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cengizhan Tokdemir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gazi Samet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Baransel Ekincioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dargecit's zone, Gazi Samet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baransel Ekincioğlu came out of the goal and Gazi Samet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Yaman Regaip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dargecit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GAP Gençlik SK the free kick. After 70 played minutes Dargecit got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Regaip. 73 minutes into the match, GAP Gençlik SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hafız İçten came free, but Cengizhan Tokdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cengizhan Tokdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafız İçten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
