Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Samsat's Tolga Nihat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamer Pamiroğlu in the 6th minute of play forced Samsat's goalkeeper Muhittin Üstay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulmelik Özbala might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muhittin Üstay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdulmelik Özbala ran back to his position shaking his head. Derman Zekeriya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zekai Ortunc hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Muhittin Üstay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulmelik Özbala, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Akdamar SK got a freekick which was hit by Rasim İlcan. Oğuz Emir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolga Nihat in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Nihat in the 27th minute of play forced Akdamar SK's goalkeeper Oğuz Emir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nedim Güngör had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhittin Üstay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Güngör's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A collision led to Samsat getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Müfit Tuğsav hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Samsat got a freekick which was hit by Derman Zekeriya. Nedim Güngör fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Üstay having to interfere. Nedim Güngör received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Muhittin Üstay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derman Zekeriya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Oğuz Emir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Tamer Pamiroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhittin Üstay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulmelik Özbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Muhittin Üstay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samsat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Nedim Güngör scored to the left of an out of position Muhittin Üstay, making the score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derman Zekeriya in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oğuz Emir saved Akdamar SK from getting behind. Nedim Güngör fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Üstay having to interfere. A collision led to Samsat getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Müfit Tuğsav hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samsat's zone, Zekai Ortunc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhittin Üstay came out of the goal and Zekai Ortunc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derman Zekeriya took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oğuz Emir. Oğuz Emir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 72 minutes, Abdulmelik Özbala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akdamar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Özbala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Akdamar SK's Tamer Pamiroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulmelik Özbala in the 75th minute of play forced Samsat's goalkeeper Muhittin Üstay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nedim Güngör received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Muhittin Üstay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zekai Ortunc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Muhittin Üstay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Tolga Nihat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oğuz Emir was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Temel Özaydın hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Akdamar SK's Oğuz Emir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necip Tacal in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Samsat's zone, Nedim Güngör stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhittin Üstay came out of the goal and Nedim Güngör tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Samsat support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
