The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdi Saygın Gazzal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match, Cenk Sağlamer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boğaç Eronat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hüseyin Can Tengiroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Boğaç Eronat made a huge save. Baykan Erseç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ahmet İlhan Baştürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boğaç Eronat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenk Sağlamer in the 35th minute of the match. Boğaç Eronat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenk Sağlamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AslanFC:s Boğaç Eronat showed great skill when he stopped Ahmet Haşim Kayı:s penalty. Ahmet Haşim Kayı took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boğaç Eronat. Boğaç Eronat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in AslanFC's zone, Hüseyin Can Tengiroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boğaç Eronat came out of the goal and Hüseyin Can Tengiroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hüseyin Can Tengiroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Can Tengiroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The coaching staff of AslanFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baykan Erseç had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
