Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Alaca's Haldun Usbey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Atabek Kirtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Güralp Biçimli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atabek Kirtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Güralp Biçimli having to interfere. Haldun Usbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Güralp Biçimli having to interfere. Atabek Kirtekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Güralp Biçimli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ateş Taybars in the 21st minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Ali Güralp Biçimli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atabek Kirtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Güralp Biçimli having to interfere. Ali Güralp Biçimli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Usbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY SK's zone, Atabek Kirtekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Güralp Biçimli came out of the goal and Atabek Kirtekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haldun Usbey took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Güralp Biçimli. Ali Güralp Biçimli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ali Güralp Biçimli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Usbey in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY SK's zone, Haldun Usbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Güralp Biçimli came out of the goal and Haldun Usbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Güralp Biçimli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabek Kirtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haldun Usbey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atabek Kirtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ali Güralp Biçimli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Haldun Usbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Güralp Biçimli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haldun Usbey struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ali Güralp Biçimli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alaca. After the first half Alaca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karhan Toper was the one to do the kick off. Ali Güralp Biçimli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Usbey in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Haldun Usbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Haldun Usbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Güralp Biçimli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Haldun Usbey made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY SK's Ali Güralp Biçimli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Haldun Usbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ateş Taybars could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ali Güralp Biçimli made a huge save. Haldun Usbey got in the 70th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ali Güralp Biçimli handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. GALATASARAY SK's Ali Güralp Biçimli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them. Atabek Kirtekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Güralp Biçimli having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY SK's zone, Haldun Usbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Güralp Biçimli came out of the goal and Haldun Usbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haldun Usbey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Güralp Biçimli having to make a save. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Atabek Kirtekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Güralp Biçimli. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Güralp Biçimli should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Alaca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GALATASARAY SK throughout the match.
