Vacib Soysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GMatador SK's Emre Serdaroğlu got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semail Nurbay in the 78th minute of play forced Zonguldakspor's goalkeeper Dursun Ali İsmail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derman Yeğiner during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Fikret Unat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osman Nuri Torcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dursun Ali İsmail took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semail Nurbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Ali İsmail made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Yavuz Bülent Tükelay sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Zonguldakspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
