In the 24th minute of the match Doğuhan Boğataş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Emrah Tunçdağ skillfully saved the ball. Baturalp Akıncıbeyoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özmen Ceyhan in the 26th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özmen Ceyhan was the one to do the kick off. When Ali Behzat Kıvılcım was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. The supporters of Esenler booed when Hani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Behzat Kıvılcım didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göktan Temizsan might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Emrah Tunçdağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Göktan Temizsan ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakkı Deniz İdil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Barış Özsahin came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mustafa Emrah Tunçdağ could save by the left post. Gökberk Rami made a great header on Esenler's corner, it was just that Hani's Mustafa Emrah Tunçdağ managed to reach the ball for a save. Fehmi Demirbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturalp Akıncıbeyoğlu having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Hani got a freekick which was hit by Cebrail Ünalmış. For all the effort they put into the match, the Esenler players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hani.
