One of Mogin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sariyahsi FK:s goal. The referee gave Sariyahsi FK a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cihat Şamil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mogin's Tuna Erdemli. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fevzi Rasi to make the kick off. Fevzi Rasi scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vacid Bağcı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuna Erdemli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tuna Erdemli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Cem Yalçıner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Haldun Çalımbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Cihat Şamil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mogin's Tuna Erdemli didn't even have to move. Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuna Erdemli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cem Yalçıner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
