Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Ömer Ünzil started the match with the kick off. Sancar Soyselçuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vacid Bağcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancar Soyselçuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fevzi Canel in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vacid Bağcı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Sancar Soyselçuk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vacid Bağcı. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Karaman's Fevzi Canel got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Ali Ömer Ünzil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berker Kadem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karaman! Karaman's Bayındır Tunçkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Berker Kadem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karaman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some careless play in the Karaman defense, Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayındır Tunçkaya. The Karaman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayındır Tunçkaya should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Sariyahsi FK's Naim Şanlı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bayındır Tunçkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. When Fevzi Canel came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Karaman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fevzi Canel couldn't finish the play. When Berker Kadem, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vacid Bağcı was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ali Ömer Ünzil hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Karaman's Bayındır Tunçkaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihat Şamil in the 70th minute of play. Berker Kadem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fevzi Canel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tekin Tolunbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bayındır Tunçkaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cem Yalçıner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Bayındır Tunçkaya made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Akşit in the 88th minute of play forced Karaman's goalkeeper Bayındır Tunçkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Cem Yalçıner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bayındır Tunçkaya. Karaman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cem Yalçıner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. If Berker Kadem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karaman were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
