AKYILDIZ FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Feyzullay Atatuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burhanettin Hatim might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İskender Dursunali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burhanettin Hatim ran back to his position shaking his head. Şenol Cenap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afşin Bayraktar in the 26th minute of play. Şenol Cenap acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mehmet Halis Teber. In the 30th minute of the match, Demir Uca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Şenol Cenap was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute, Nusrettin Mehdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Burhanettin Hatim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Dursunali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Burhanettin Hatim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşin Bayraktar in the 39th minute of play forced AKYILDIZ FK's goalkeeper Şenol Cenap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İskender Dursunali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feyzullay Atatuğ in the 47th minute of the match. The Pamukkale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AKYILDIZ FK were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feyzullay Atatuğ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şenol Cenap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet İlhan Başhekim in the 63rd minute of the match. Pamukkale's İskender Dursunali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Pamukkale from getting a goal against them. Feyzullay Atatuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burhanettin Hatim took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İskender Dursunali. İskender Dursunali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 87th minute Demir Uca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Cenap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pamukkale's Gürol Denizcan got a free kick in the 96th minute. Feyzullay Atatuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Pamukkale lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
