In the 17th minute Agah Sertaçgil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Toregün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Nadir Ulumeriç took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gökcan Ceyhan to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Soguksu booed when Besikdüzü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Han Ergümen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agah Sertaçgil was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Seyfi Soysaldı in the 52nd minute of play forced Soguksu's goalkeeper Alaaddin Toregün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şahin Şehzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökcan Ceyhan having to interfere. If Nadir Ulumeriç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çelikan Coşan got free with Alaaddin Toregün in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agah Sertaçgil took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alaaddin Toregün. Alaaddin Toregün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soguksu fully deserved thier win.
