Aziz Onatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşık Ilgınlı having to interfere. When Vahap Volkan came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hanak JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahap Volkan couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Semavi Hürsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aşık Ilgınlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahap Volkan in the 20th minute of the match. Hanak JK's Aziz Onatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aziz Onatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aşık Ilgınlı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aziz Onatsu in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute, Ali Erdem Derdiyok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Hanak JK got a corner. Cicekdagi JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nurtekin Sabeddin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hanak JK's Nurtekin Sabeddin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aşık Ilgınlı in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Şehzade Çelikoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercan Gaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Semavi Hürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şehzade Çelikoz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Onatsu in the 51st minute of play forced Cicekdagi JK's goalkeeper Aşık Ilgınlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erol Balamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ercan Gaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ali Erdem Derdiyok managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cicekdagi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Erdem Derdiyok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercan Gaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanak JK's Ercan Gaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Erdem Derdiyok in the 57th minute of play. Ali Erdem Derdiyok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aşık Ilgınlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahap Volkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vahap Volkan came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hanak JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahap Volkan couldn't finish the play. Aziz Onatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hanak JK booed when Cicekdagi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Çelikoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Hanak JK's Nurtekin Sabeddin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cicekdagi JK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hanak JK to leave the ground with a draw.
