Zülfikar Göçer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Girne FK. After having played for 8 minutes, Serdar Aziz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tepecik Tuğlaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Aziz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serdar Aziz in the 11th minute of play forced Girne FK's goalkeeper Turgut Nebi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Girne FK's Turgut Nebi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Girne FK from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu to make the kick off. Girne FK's Turgut Nebi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Arda Kudsi in the 53rd minute of play. Mehmet Hakkı Sümeroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Serdar Aziz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tepecik Tuğlaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Serdar Aziz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turgut Nebi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Turgut Nebi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semih Şentürk in the 87th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Serdar Aziz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girne FK's Turgut Nebi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tepecik Tuğlaspor fully deserved thier win.
