An unexpectedly hard shot by Bulut Songurhan in the 5th minute of play forced Gölova's goalkeeper Orkun Uçma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Kurtuluş Dalga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talay FK's Yavuz Seyhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazım Paksan in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Talay FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kazım Paksan came free, but Yavuz Seyhun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azmi Oğuzer scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Seyhun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Talay FK defense, Azmi Oğuzer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yavuz Seyhun. The Talay FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yavuz Seyhun should have stopped the shot. Yavuz Seyhun came out and tried to block the shot, but Kazım Paksan slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. Yavuz Seyhun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazım Paksan in the 35th minute of play. Yavuz Seyhun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azmi Oğuzer in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Bulut Songurhan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gölova's Orkun Uçma. Orkun Uçma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bulut Songurhan to make the kick off. Orkun Uçma made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bulut Songurhan sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute of the match Arda Baybars Başkara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orkun Uçma skillfully saved the ball. Talay FK's Yavuz Seyhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazım Paksan in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kazım Paksan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavuz Seyhun was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Necmi Seyyid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Orkun Uçma made a huge save. In the 87th minute of the match, Bulut Songurhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orkun Uçma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Talay FK were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Gölova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arda Baybars Başkara took the corner. Lütfullah Sağlamer tried in the 88th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Orkun Uçma a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 4-2. Ali Asım Ramiz struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Orkun Uçma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talay FK.
