Serhan Uğurlubay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aşık Himmet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serhan Uğurlubay's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Banaz's zone, Serhan Uğurlubay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşık Himmet came out of the goal and Serhan Uğurlubay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serhan Uğurlubay was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Banaz's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Uğurlubay came free, but Aşık Himmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aşık Himmet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdurrahim Tanır went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Necip Güneş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Atacan Salti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atacan Salti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baki Resul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Serhan Uğurlubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behlül Taha's late challenge caught a Göynücek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behlül Taha helped the player get up and apologised. Behlül Taha kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Banaz's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Uğurlubay came free, but Aşık Himmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdurrahim Tanır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşık Himmet having to interfere. If Serhan Uğurlubay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banaz's Aşık Himmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Banaz from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Banaz's goalkeeper Aşık Himmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdurrahim Tanır. Serhan Uğurlubay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aşık Himmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Ahmet Haşim Paker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banaz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göynücek the free kick. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Haşim Paker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saffet Şerefhan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
