Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ali Mertoğul started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Mertoğul in the 6th minute of play forced Edremit's goalkeeper Nazil Selahaddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Ali Mertoğul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazil Selahaddin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayrullah Dilercan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ali Mertoğul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nazil Selahaddin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edremit's goalkeeper Nazil Selahaddin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Mertoğul struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nazil Selahaddin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Posof. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Mertoğul in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nazil Selahaddin saved Edremit from getting behind. In the 29th minute Kamuran Özaltın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Suyurgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Edremit booed when Posof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altan Turay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Vedat Özdilek in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nazil Selahaddin saved Edremit from getting behind. When Ali Vedat Özdilek came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Posof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Vedat Özdilek couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Edremit getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adnan Cerme hit a great ball. Ali Vedat Özdilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nazil Selahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazil Selahaddin made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ali Vedat Özdilek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Edremit's Sami Batıray got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Edremit's Nazil Selahaddin got control of the ball when Ali Vedat Özdilek tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ali Mertoğul took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Nazil Selahaddin to make any attempt to save it. Nazil Selahaddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Mertoğul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Kamuran Özaltın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Ali Mertoğul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edremit's Nazil Selahaddin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ali Mertoğul took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nazil Selahaddin to make any attempt to save it. Ali Mertoğul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nazil Selahaddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Mertoğul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nazil Selahaddin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ali Mertoğul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazil Selahaddin having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Kamuran Özaltın notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Posof's Mustafa Barış Suyurgal. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Posof's Ali Mertoğul in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edremit's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute of the match Altan Değirmencioğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustafa Barış Suyurgal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nazil Selahaddin made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ali Vedat Özdilek sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Edremit's goalkeeper Nazil Selahaddin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Posof walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
