Üzeyir Kara lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mezarlikbasi:s Beyhan Budaklı showed great skill when he stopped Hamit Eryilmaz:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Mertoğul in the 7th minute of play forced Mezarlikbasi's goalkeeper Beyhan Budaklı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Posof's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamit Eryilmaz in the 8th minute. The audience cheered when Hamit Eryilmaz's long shot passed Beyhan Budaklı's right side. It was 0-1, 9 minutes into the match. Beyhan Budaklı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Turay in the 14th minute of the match. Hulusi Ergazi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hulusi Ergazi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Posof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bektaş Ali Sarim to maneuver through the defense. Beyhan Budaklı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özalp Hepyener in the 26th minute of play. Posof's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mezarlikbasi the free kick. After 33 played minutes Posof got a freekick which was hit by Özalp Hepyener. In the 34th match minute, Mezarlikbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barış Serter to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Ali Vedat Özdilek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beyhan Budaklı. Mezarlikbasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Vedat Özdilek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Altan Turay's late challenge caught a Mezarlikbasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altan Turay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mezarlikbasi booed when Posof was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altan Turay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mezarlikbasi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Posof were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özgür Baybars was the one to do the kick off. Beyhan Budaklı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Vedat Özdilek in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Ali Mertoğul tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beyhan Budaklı saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Mezarlikbasi's Ayberk Derelioğlu got a free kick in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Ali Vedat Özdilek lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Beyhan Budaklı. 68 minutes into the match, Ali Mertoğul dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beyhan Budaklı, 2-5. Özgür Baybars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mustafa Barış Suyurgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Posof getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ali Mertoğul hit a great ball. Hulusi Ergazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Barış Suyurgal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mezarlikbasi's Mehmet Bilge Sahir got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ayberk Derelioğlu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ali Mertoğul kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
