The audience thought a goal was coming when Batu Gökdoğan got free with Bektaş Akalın in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Konyaspor booed when Beşiktaş JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakan Vural didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yusuf Bahadır Naci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bektaş Akalın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansur Yücesan in the 76th minute of play. Esen Özkutsal hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Ayhan Ulus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yusuf Bahadır Naci. Ayhan Ulus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mansur Yücesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Akalın having to interfere. Bektaş Akalın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansur Yücesan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Konyaspor getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Esen Özkutsal hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Beşiktaş JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
