In the 2nd match minute, ERZURUMSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıza Yiğitcan to maneuver through the defense. NiKOMEDiA FC's Sait Altuncuoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save NiKOMEDiA FC from getting a goal against them. Nuri Tokalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sait Altuncuoğlu made a huge save. If Ömer Rıza Sabri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, NiKOMEDiA FC's Battal Gazi Refettin got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nuri Tokalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERZURUMSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuri Tokalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sait Altuncuoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sait Altuncuoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıza Yiğitcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes of play, ERZURUMSPOR's Nuri Tokalp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sait Altuncuoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rıza Yiğitcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sait Altuncuoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Rıza Yiğitcan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rıza Yiğitcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuri Tokalp got free with Sait Altuncuoğlu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, NiKOMEDiA FC's Sait Altuncuoğlu got control of the ball when Nuri Tokalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Rıza Sabri in the 42nd minute of play forced ERZURUMSPOR's goalkeeper Latif Taşkesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, NiKOMEDiA FC's Sait Altuncuoğlu got control of the ball when Nuri Tokalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Battal Hasanbeyli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ERZURUMSPOR and the NiKOMEDiA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Battal Hasanbeyli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Buğra Muhtar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Latif Taşkesen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NiKOMEDiA FC. After 55 minutes, Gürol Mukbil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NiKOMEDiA FC and the ERZURUMSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Mirza Yavuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes NiKOMEDiA FC got a freekick which was hit by Gökçek Gümüş. Sait Altuncuoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuri Tokalp in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harun Üstüner in the 67th minute of play forced NiKOMEDiA FC's goalkeeper Sait Altuncuoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sait Altuncuoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıza Yiğitcan in the 72nd minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, NiKOMEDiA FC's Ömer Rıza Sabri made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Latif Taşkesen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Gürol Mukbil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes NiKOMEDiA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Savaş Ünzil who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute of the match İskender Baki Özilhan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Latif Taşkesen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. ERZURUMSPOR's Rıza Yiğitcan got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıza Yiğitcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sait Altuncuoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ERZURUMSPOR's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
