Baturay Beysan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bayındır Şıran made a huge save. Burak Taygar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Namık Adalı put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bayındır Şıran. After 34 minutes of play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Namık Adalı made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bayındır Şıran was left in no man's land by his defense there! BEŞİKTAŞ's Hüsnü Tüzünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayındır Şıran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baturay Beysan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Namık Adalı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bayındır Şıran was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 68th minute Hüsnü Tüzünalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayındır Şıran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Sungurbey Kura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
