Vahap Hürsel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 played minutes Nurhak got a freekick which was hit by Kamber Taciroğlu. Ercüment Uğursal's late challenge caught a Bilkent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ercüment Uğursal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bilkent booed when Nurhak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercüment Uğursal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güntekin Perver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersan Vargın in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bilkent's Güntekin Perver. Güntekin Perver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ersan Vargın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nurhak's supporters rose to their feet, but Ersan Vargın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güntekin Perver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Bilkent's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur came free, but Güntekin Perver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güntekin Perver. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Vahap Hürsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Tecik, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bilkent's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ercüment Uğursal 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veli İpekçi made a kick off. The supporters of Nurhak booed when Bilkent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Uluhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güntekin Perver, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 played minutes Bilkent got a freekick which was hit by Timur Uyun. Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Güntekin Perver. Bilkent's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mehmet Çağrı Zeynur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atabek Sıraç during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ersan Vargın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Haydar Tecik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Vahap Hürsel made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Ersan Vargın notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Bilkent's Güntekin Perver. Güntekin Perver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nurhak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bilkent had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
