Merih Sezginay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Aybek Kuntman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Backroom FK booed when Bingöl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asaf Şanalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batuğ Kurman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Sezginay, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Baykal Yakup kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Fatih Somer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batuğ Kurman skillfully saved the ball. Backroom FK's Berkant Kayraalp managed to work through Bingöl's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Berkant Kayraalp dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Merih Sezginay struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Batuğ Kurman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bingöl. In the 45th minute Reha Özkutsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batuğ Kurman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reha Özkutsal to make the kick off. Merih Sezginay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batuğ Kurman having to interfere. If Merih Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Korkut Mengücek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ersin Tulum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkant Kayraalp took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ersin Tulum. Ersin Tulum dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Korkut Mengücek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ersin Tulum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkant Kayraalp in the 81st minute of play forced Bingöl's goalkeeper Ersin Tulum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ersin Tulum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berkant Kayraalp's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Korkut Mengücek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ersin Tulum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Korkut Mengücek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Korkut Mengücek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ersin Tulum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bingöl players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Backroom FK.
