Erkin Mengüç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Cagne FC's Azmi Akgün ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferhan Çalapover. Ferhan Çalapover yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Kılıçhan Demirkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vakfikebir's supporters rose to their feet, but Kılıçhan Demirkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cankut Apaydın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Vakfikebir getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Engin Resat hit a great ball. Erkin Mengüç scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferhan Çalapover, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Azmi Akgün dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferhan Çalapover, 3-0. In the 28th minute, Cagne FC's Azmi Akgün ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferhan Çalapover. Ferhan Çalapover yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Ali Dirayet in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cankut Apaydın saved Cagne FC from getting behind. Cagne FC's Cankut Apaydın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçhan Demirkan in the 35th minute of play. If Azmi Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hasan Ali Dirayet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cagne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Özmen Pınar came free, but Cankut Apaydın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cankut Apaydın came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Vakfikebir's Kılıçhan Demirkan. But to his dismay, Kılıçhan Demirkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Cagne FC's Erkin Mengüç got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Engin Resat kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Özmen Pınar fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vakfikebir's protests and gave Özmen Pınar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cagne FC booed when Vakfikebir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özmen Pınar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıçhan Demirkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cankut Apaydın having to interfere. Cankut Apaydın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özmen Pınar in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Cagne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Zor to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Ardahan İdil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vakfikebir and the Cagne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Vakfikebir got a freekick which was hit by Ardahan İdil. Azmi Akgün struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ferhan Çalapover didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cagne FC. Azmi Akgün blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferhan Çalapover having to make a save. Erkin Mengüç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhan Çalapover having to interfere. Hasan Ali Dirayet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasan Ali Dirayet in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cankut Apaydın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vakfikebir's Hasan Ali Dirayet was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cagne FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vakfikebir had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
