During the 11th minute of the match Ardahan Altıncığlu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ardahan Altıncığlu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tansel Aurelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cenan Kocaalp came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nisantasi JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cenan Kocaalp couldn't finish the play. Pars İlmen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After having played for 56 minutes, Çetin Tandoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genç Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çetin Tandoğdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Müfit Sayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devlet Ruknettin scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tansel Aurelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Genç Spor's Müfit Sayhan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tansel Aurelio. Tansel Aurelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The supporters of Genç Spor booed when Nisantasi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdullatif Bedih didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Nisantasi JK's Tansel Aurelio got control of the ball when Devlet Ruknettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Müfit Sayhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Tansel Aurelio made a huge save. Şerafettin Zühtü charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şerafettin Zühtü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ata Onkal's late challenge caught a Genç Spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ata Onkal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Nisantasi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ata Onkal to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Genç Spor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nisantasi JK throughout the match.
