Aydın Yazır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pars İlmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Nusrettin Nurbaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devlet Ruknettin in the 26th minute of the match. If Abayhan Devlettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, devlet hastahaneleri tm's goal looked a bit too open when Abayhan Devlettin came free, but Nusrettin Nurbaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Genç Spor's zone, Asım Özerkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pars İlmen came out of the goal and Asım Özerkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genç Spor's Pars İlmen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özdemir Uruç in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özdemir Uruç to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Genç Spor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of devlet hastahaneleri tm:s goal. The referee gave devlet hastahaneleri tm a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. Özdemir Uruç might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pars İlmen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özdemir Uruç ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Asım Özerkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pars İlmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Genç Spor's Ferit Baykutay got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match Ahmet Bedri Tolun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pars İlmen skillfully saved the ball. Asım Özerkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Genç Spor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Devlettin in the 98th minute of play forced devlet hastahaneleri tm's goalkeeper Nusrettin Nurbaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
