An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürol Başesgi in the 32nd minute of play forced ŞimşekSpor FK's goalkeeper Enes Dilsaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Galip Oğuzbala in the 36th minute of play forced Candir's goalkeeper Kahraman Acun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürol Başesgi's late challenge caught a ŞimşekSpor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayati Özan couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hayati Özan was the one to do the kick off.
